This is my favorite mid-Cape roadside seafood shack for lightly battered and perfectly fried clams and scallops.
AAA Inspector Notes
Classic. Old posts made of driftwood support the sign of this seasonal clam shack. For more than 45 years, this owner-operated spot has served sublime lobster rolls and fried clams. Lobster is plentiful and packed into a grilled roll with a hint of mayonnaise. Lightly breaded clams are deep-fried to a crisp golden brown. The batter is neither heavy nor floury. Diners scan a menu board above the counter, then order and pay the cashier. The staff is pleasant, but service is limited.
