New England Wild Flower Society—Garden in the Woods is at 180 Hemenway Rd. Garden in the Woods, with the largest landscaped collection of native plants in the region, is an ever-changing 45-acre living museum showcasing more than 1,000 native plant species. Many rare and endangered specimens are displayed throughout the site and also are the highlight of the New England Garden of Rare and Endangered Plants.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
