Hammond Castle Museum is at 80 Hesperus Ave. Built by inventor Dr. John Hays Hammond 1926-29, this Medieval Revival-type castle contains furniture and architectural pieces from dwellings and churches abroad as well as Roman, medieval and Renaissance artifacts.
$10; $9 (ages 65+); $8 (ages 6-12).
Hours: Tues.-Sun. 10-4, Memorial Day-Labor Day; Sat.-Sun. 10-4, mid-Apr. through day before Memorial Day and day after Labor Day-late Sept. Last admission 30 minutes before closing.
