AAA Editor Notes
Lawrence Heritage State Park, 1 Jackson St., commemorates the history of this mill city. Lawrence's mills once produced 800 miles of cloth a day through the labor of thousands of immigrants, who made history during the Bread and Roses Strike of 1912. This strike sparked the American labor movement, bringing about national reforms of laws governing workers' rights. A visitor center in a restored 1840s boarding house features original architectural details, a video presentation, interactive exhibits and models.

Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
