Ventfort Hall: Mansion and Gilded Age Museum is at 104 Walker St. Built in 1893 for Sarah Morgan, the sister of J.P. Morgan, and used as a filming location for the movie “The Cider House Rules,” the Elizabethan-style mansion features a 90-foot grand veranda, gables, stained glass windows, ornate plasterwork and wood carvings, and other architectural elements exemplifying the opulence of the Gilded Age. In addition to offering tours and exhibits, Ventfort Hall showcases concerts, lectures and Victorian teas.

Guided tours are available.

Admission
(includes guided tour) $18; $17 (college students ages 18-23 with ID and ages 65+); $7 (ages 5-17). An additional fee may be charged for some special exhibitions.
Hours
Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 10-3, Memorial Day weekend-Oct. 31; Mon.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. 10-3, rest of year. Guided tours are given on the hour Mon.-Sat. 10-3, Sun. 10-2. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Allow 1 hour minimum.
