Hancock-Clarke House, 36 Hancock St., was built in 1737. Samuel Adams and John Hancock were at this site when Paul Revere brought the news of the British advance. The house includes period furniture and historical objects. The “First Shot!” orientation film is shown hourly. Guided tours are available.
$8; $5 (ages 6-16). Combination ticket with Buckman Tavern and Munroe Tavern $15; $8 (ages 6-16).
Hours: Daily 10-4, Memorial Day-Nov. 1; Sat.-Sun. 10-4, mid-Apr. through day before Memorial Day. Guided tours are given on the hour.
