Off the interstate, this family-owned and -operated restaurant occupies a rural setting. Two stone fireplaces anchor the rustic country décor in the lounge and dining rooms. Brass rails, ceiling fans and walls hung with memorabilia set the tone. Populating the menu is a range of New England favorites, including homemade turkey pot pie, baked stuffed chicken, fish and chips, London broil, steak tips, fried clams, baked scrod, lobster and pasta, though best known for the prime rib. Service is friendly.
