The New Bedford Museum of Glass, 61 Wamsutta St., houses a collection of 7,000 objects from a variety of regions and periods. Among the highlights are Rose Amber, Crown Milano, Royal Flemish, Burmese and Lava glass pieces made in New Bedford, which was known as “the Art Glass Headquarters of the Country” in the late 19th century.
