AAA Editor Notes
Hedge House Museum, 126 Water St., offers visitors a glimpse into 19th-century life. Built in 1809, the historic house was originally located on Court Street. The structure was moved to its current location overlooking Plymouth Harbor in the early 1900s, when it was saved from demolition by the Plymouth Antiquarian Society.

The building features Federal architecture, octagonal rooms and a carriage house. Antique furnishings, paintings, textiles and toys are on display. Enhancing the charming site are the brick pathways and flowering perennials of the Rose T. Briggs Memorial Garden.

Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
