Salem Witch Museum is at 19 1/2 Washington Sq. N. opposite Salem Common on SR 1A. An audiovisual presentation about the witch trials of 1692 is offered every half-hour. The exhibit Witches: Evolving Perceptions examines stereotypes, the practice of witchcraft and the phenomenon of witch hunting. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$11; $9.50 (senior citizens); $8 (ages 6-14).
Hours: Daily 10-7, July-Aug.; 10-5, rest of year (with extended hours on Halloween and Fri.-Sat., in Oct.). Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
