Witch History Museum is at 197-201 Essex St. An actor dressed in period costume performs a monologue explaining the witch hysteria that gripped the town of Salem in 1692. Guests are led downstairs and through an artificial forest lined with dioramas depicting witch-related events. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$9; $8 (ages 65+); $7 (ages 4-13). Combination ticket with New England Pirate Museum and Witch Dungeon Museum $19; $16 (ages 65+); $13 (ages 4-13).
Hours: Daily 10-5, Apr.-Nov. (with extended hours in Oct.). Closed Easter and Thanksgiving.
