This 1849 Victorian inn is perfectly located in the center of this historic village just steps from boutique shops and art galleries. The inn is known for its candlelit three-course gourmet breakfast. A library is stocked with brochures, maps and ferry schedules. Rooms are furnished with many antiques and reproductions, robes and slippers in the winter. All rooms feature an electric stove, wood-burning or gas fireplace and a DVD and CD player. A full hot breakfast is served between 8:30 and 10 am.

Pros: The proprietors were lovely. The best B and B we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect! The room was very tastefully decorated, quite comfortable, and the 3 course breakfast was superb. I highly recommend this wonderful inn.

Pros: I loved the whirl pool tub, breakfast, amenities and the homey feel. Within walking distance of downtown. The owners were so friendly; my sister and I had a wonderful time.
