Springfield Science Museum is at the Quadrangle at 21 Edwards St., on the Springfield Museum campus. Featured are dinosaur and African exhibit halls, an exploration center with hands-on exhibits and a participatory investigation station. Also on-site are an aquarium, a mineral hall, Native American artifacts, interactive life-science exhibits and a planetarium. A highlight is the life-size replica of a Tyrannosaurus rex.
