Johns Hopkins Archaeological Museum is in 150 Gilman Hall at 3400 N. Charles St. on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus; consult a campus map for visitor parking locations. The museum displays more than 1,000 ancient objects, some on loan from other institutions. The collection includes artifacts from ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt as well as the Ancient Americas. Notable pieces include Latin funerary inscriptions, Egyptian decorative arts, ancient Near East cuneiform tablets and seals, and a female Egyptian mummy.
