AAA Editor Notes
The Children's Museum of Rose Hill Manor Park, 1611 N. Market St., was the retirement home of Thomas Johnson, Maryland's first elected governor. Guided tours of the 1790s house as well as the carriages and garden are available. The museum depicts 19th-century family life; a blacksmith shop and a log cabin are on the grounds.

Displays pertaining to weaving and carding wool are of special interest. Hands-on activities are available for children.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
