The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum is at 701 Wilson Point Rd. at Martin State Airport Hangar 5 (Suite 531). The museum showcases aviation history, with a focus on the Glenn L. Martin Co., which was in operation 1909-60 and produced more than 11,000 planes. Photos and memorabilia as well as exhibits about the Martin plant and Rosie the Riveter are displayed. Museum staff members offer exterior tours of the museum's 14 airplanes and one helicopter.
Special events, including Open Cockpit Days when visitors can go inside each of the planes and helicopter, are held throughout the year.
