José Maria Velasco Museum

José Maria Velasco Museum is at Av. Lerdo de Tejada #400, adjoining the Felipe S. Gutiérrez Museum. It exhibits paintings and sculptures by one of Mexico's most influential 19th-century painters. One of Velasco's more notable works, “Vista desde Molino del Rey,” was donated to the museum by former president Ernesto Zedillo. One room contains a re-creation of the artist's workshop.
