University of Michigan Museum of Natural History is at 1105 N. University Ave. on the University of Michigan central campus. The museum offers exhibits about dinosaurs, prehistoric life, fossils, minerals, anthropology, astronomy, biology and Michigan wildlife. The planetarium hosts a selection of 45-minute programs.
Note: The museum will open at this new location in 2019. Phone ahead to confirm schedule and admission information. The current location (1109 Geddes Ave.) will close Dec. 30, 2017.
