The University of Michigan Museum of Natural History is at 1109 Geddes Ave. at jct. Washtenaw Ave. on the University of Michigan central campus. The museum offers exhibits about dinosaurs, prehistoric life, fossils, minerals, anthropology, astronomy, biology and Michigan wildlife. The planetarium hosts a selection of 45-minute programs.
Museum by donations. Planetarium $5.
Hours: Museum Mon.-Sat. 9-5, Sun. noon-5. Phone for planetarium show schedule. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving, Christmas, day after Christmas and Dec. 31.
