W. K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, part of Michigan State University's W.K. Kellogg Biological Station , is on SR 89, following signs to 12685 E. C Ave., between 40th St. and E. Gull Lake Dr. This experimental facility is a 180-acre area inhabited by birds of prey, wild ducks, geese, swans, pheasants and other upland species.
The sanctuary has walking trails, a museum, observation deck and educational displays.
Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
