Gwen Frostic Prints is 2 mi. w. of US 31 on Traverse Ave. to 5140 River Rd. A small wooden building lies within a 285-acre wildlife sanctuary on the Betsie River. Carvings of wild birds and animals are among the collection and works of Gwen Frostic, an artist and poet who specialized in nature themes. Visitors can watch presses make prints from original blocks seasonally. Nature trails traverse the grounds and a nature library is available.
