Pros: Yes the bed was very comfortable, clean bathroom, and carpeting with a lovely view of the Detroit River. We had stayed at the Downtown Indianapolis and really enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of that facility so decided to try the same chain of hotels. I even bought the comforter and bedding for my home. This was just a one night stay as we were going to the USCIS the next day. My two adopted children received their Citizenship papers and this looked like one of the best places to stay because it was close and we had had the great experience in Indianapolis. Great food in the restaurant, very friendly staff and just a very pleasant experience overall.
Cons: The only problem we had was when we first arrived and could not figuring out where and how to get valet service. There was no one outside and my sister had to go in and get someone. There was just very little parking space outside the front doors and with a pickup truck it was not easy to maneuver around. It was not clearly marked as to where to park. If there had been someone to direct us it would have been much easier. Also we went to the hotel across the way not realizing there were two Marriott hotels. You might want to put this in your info so people that are not familiar with area would realize this especially when people arrive after dark.
