Much of the seating is communal style, so my friends and I always enjoy an afternoon of sipping pints, eating pizza and chatting with neighbors.

Industrial accents, including exposed ceilings and light-colored wood features, add to the inviting feel of this rapidly expanding state-based brewery. Large communal tables encourage socializing. The menu includes a variety of sandwiches and delicious stone-baked pizzas. Try the perfect fried chicken sandwich topped with spicy pickles, turmeric aioli and a sesame-cilantro slaw. Beer connoisseurs can sample artisanal ales from the brewery or try other regionally brewed choices. Avalon Bakery, which offers a variety of pastries and breads, shares space with the brewery until 3 pm daily.
