Dowagiac Area History Museum is at 201 E. Division St. The three-story museum explores the history of Dowagiac, Cass County and Sister Lakes and includes exhibits about Potawatomi Indians, featuring a full-size wigwam; the Round Oak Stove Co.; the Underground Railroad; and locals who made history, including early space pioneer Captain Iven C. Kincheloe, journalist Webb Miller and Kitty Litter inventor Edward Lowe. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
