Pros: The hotel was pleasant. The lobby area is very attractive with fireplace decorated for Christmas. The staff was amazing, from the people at the front desk to the folks taking care of the breakfast buffet. They were friendly, smiling and helpful!

Pros: I was in Grandville to attend a funeral, because of the snow I was unable to get a taxi. The manager of the hotel drove my family to the funeral home and offered to pick us up. I don't remember his name but his hospitality saved the day!!

Great hotel
Pros: This is a great place to stay with kids or team events . Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Great pool, game room and breakfast was awesome ! Always refilled and fresh . We had a team of 10 boys ( 10 years old) plus everyone's family and I can't say enough nice things about this hotel .

Pros: The breakfast was great. We got a Jacuzzi tub in the room which was very nice. The pool was clean and they have adult swim only hours which was nice.
Cons: The bed was a little firm for my taste. There was a storm and we couldn't access some of the satellite tv channels.

Pros: The beautiful lobby. Christmas tree and fireplace, lovely.
Cons: Not being able to get a key to our room. We were headed to Grand Valley for a track meet and asked for a room key at 2:15 not asking to get in our room but to have it because we did not get back to hotel until 11:15pm.

Perfect stay for a GVSU...
Pros: Very friendly staff, quick and easy check in and out. Clean room & bath. Good quality sheets and comforter. Plenty of pillows, location, and wonderful breakfast.

Cons: The scrambled eggs came from a package and had a strange taste, I couldn't eat them. The hard boiled eggs were tasteless and tough! I could not eat them either! since I have Celiac there was nothing I could eat.

Pros: It is very accessible to Grand Rapids and Holland. It is close to the Rivertown area with a wide variety of restaurants. We were impressed with the pool/hot tub area. The pool used saline for purification instead of a heavy chlorine. Very nice. The room was an average size, nicely decorated and very clean. We didn't eat breakfast there, but there appear to be a wide selection of both hot and cold items.
Cons: Our room was very warm. It was in the low to mid 30s outside and we couldn't get the room down to the low 60s that night. Both my husband and I prefer a cool bedroom and it just wasn't. We actually considered opening a window to control the temperature.

A few hiccups, but overall...
Pros: The room itself was very clean and spacious. The breakfast offered was great as always, and the pool/hot tub area were also enjoyable.
Cons: The staff could've been more attentive by answering the phone when we called about children running through the hallway. The beds were also a little problematic; the sheets didn't stay on the bed, and they were a somewhat uncomfortable.

Pros: The property is extremely clean and in a decent location; not too far from restaurants, shopping, and close to the highway. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. I requested for something special to be left in the room for my boyfriend's birthday. They were able to arrange for a bottle of champagne and candy!
Cons: My boyfriend is gluten free, so I wish that they would've had more of a selection during breakfast for him aside from eggs, oatmeal, and sausage.
