W. K. Kellogg Biological Station is 2 mi. n. off SR 89 to 3700 E. Gull Lake Dr. This site is Michigan State University’s largest off-campus field station and includes the Kellogg Farm Dairy Center and W.K. Kellogg Manor House in Hickory Corners as well as W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary and W.K. Kellogg Experimental Forest in Augusta . Cereal magnate W.K. Kellogg was an environmentalist who donated many of the station’s facilities.
Admission is charged at W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary and W. K. Kellogg Manor House.
Hours: Daily 9-7, Apr.-Nov.; 9-5, rest of year.
