Windmill Island

Windmill Island is at 7th St. and Lincoln Ave. The island is an unusual 36-acre park. Canals, a drawbridge, a miniature Dutch village and spring tulip gardens surround the park’s main feature, a 1780s operating windmill brought from the Netherlands. Called De Zwaan, the mill produces a fine graham flour. The post house is a replica of a 14th-century Netherlands wayside inn. A slide presentation is presented all year.

Klompen dancing and organ concerts are presented seasonally.
