Pros: Room spacious and beds comfortable. Microwave in room and real coffee maker. Most of the staff friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Plastic crockery and cutlery for breakfast. Breakfast was altogether a negative experience and when it says breakfast is until 10 am, do't think that you can get there at 9:55, the doors to the food area are locked promptly at 10 am by a rather intimidating woman who seems to resent people going in at all to get food (The man who sometimes covers was much friendlier and went out of his way to help people get what they needed)The key card kept not working. Once, we arrived back at the hotel at about 11pm and the key wasn't working, the battery had run out so the guy at the front desk was unable to let us into our room. He was very apologetic and said that we would get a reduction from our bill, but it was very frustrating. We had to sleep in another room without any of our clothes, toiletries, medications etc. We were told that the maintenance man would be there at 7 am so we got up before then so that we could go and get cleaned up and sorted before breakfast - he didn't arrive until 10am! When we checked out, they had given us a reduction of 10% - for the night that we were locked out! I was not impressed, eventually they agreed to refund us that one night. We had stayed for 14 nights so they had done well out of us.The other big frustration was on the day of departure, I had booked a taxi in the morning to take me to the airport at 5:30pm, when I arrived at the front desk at 5:20pm, I asked Denise at the front desk if she could confirm that a taxi had been booked, she said that if I had asked for one, it would have been done. At 5:30, when the taxi still hadn't arrived, I asked again and she checked the diary and said "yes it has". At 5:40 it still hadn't arrived, she checked the diary again and said. "Oh! there is a note here next to the booking saying that we should call the taxi again to confirm, I didn't notice"! Now I was beginning to panic that I might miss my flight and therefore my connection back to the UK.
