This stately 1905 light brick mansion was built by a Victorian-era lumber baron and sits within walking distance of Lake Michigan beaches, a marina and the downtown shops and restaurants. The house features antiques, pocket doors, hardwood paneling, parquet floors and the original chandeliers. The house also has original light fixtures for either electric or gas lights. A library houses nearly 1,000 volumes available for guests to dive into. Nicely appointed guest rooms vary in size, and some include original pedestal sinks and antique tubs located within the room. The king suite has an original 'needle shower' from 1905. Amenities include plush bedding with 300 thread-count sheeting and upscale toiletries.
