McGulpin House, at Fort Mackinac, is on Fort St. An example of French-Canadian architecture, the house may have been one of the buildings brought to Mackinac Island from Fort Michilimackinac, established in 1780. The architecture of the house is showcased with a model of the structure as well as an exhibit detailing the restorations that have been performed. Some original rafters, plaster and wallpaper can be seen.
