Pros: The indoor water park is great for kids, probably less than 8-10. It's not huge but they enjoy it.

Cons: This was the dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed at. Cobwebs and bugs were at every passing area. The pool was filthy. The doorwall was completely covered with bugs, cobwebs and grime so when you look out to the lake all you could see is nasty grossness.

Hoses running across door ways and open window, smelled and would never go back. Pictures on the website are not accurate. Staff was rude and could have cared less when I checked out 2 days early. Zero stars!!!! Yuk!

Cons: Room was dated and pictures on line did reflect the appearance of the room. There was mold at the base of the bathtub and along the rim of the sink. Complained to staff and received a "sorry". Asked to speak to the manager on duty and apparently there was not one there during that particular day on a weekend. I found that to be odd, needless to say, I was never contacted. Free breakfast was disorganized and chaotic. Only 2 staff members working an entire large dining area. Found was served on styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. Water park had yellowish slime on the inner sides of the slides as if they do not maintain or clean it properly. For $200+ a night I urge you to look elsewhere.

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was great. My son loved the water park and had a great time. The location was great, across from the Star Ferry line. We did not have to walk far to get to the ferry to go over to the inland.
Cons: We had ants in our room behind the mini fridge, was not a big problem. Also would have liked to see the hours posted for the water park. The hours listed for the pool in the room was 10am to 10pm. We found out the water park did not open until 12pm. There were no clean towels in the pool area our second night there. After we brought it to the attention of the staff if took over an hour to get towels. It appeared no one had collected the dirty towels at all during the day.

Cons: The gym was horrible, the equipment was very out dated and of poor quality. The gym was also dirty and smelled really bad. It was the "off season" which we were not informed of at the time of booking, so the hotel had nothing, no breakfast on site had to go down the road for that when wet got there at 9:30am most stuff was gone.. The hotel had only 2 blankets for a room that sleeps 8 the front desk was rude.. I asked for more blankets and some plastic spoons the staff replied it's the off season we don't have that stuff now.. When we arrived or room wasn't ready the staff was rude about that and I had to pay to upgrade to a suite with no working heat we froze the whole night.. I wouldn't stay there again.

To be honest their was NO staff there not a single soul in sight and we had to go to another hotel The Hamilton down the road to check into ours. Our hotel was under renovation. It smelled like mildew throughout. The hotel placed us on the 4th floor with all kinds of luggage and their is no elevator to the 4th floor and we had a 2 year old with us. the beds were hard as a rock. mold around the windows, we checked out early and still have yet to receive our refund. if you are looking for a place to stay do not stay in this heap. the water park is not worth breathing in the smell of black mold and mildew

Cons: It was very unkept. I realize it's a busy season, but the staff could have spent a little less time on Facebook and a little more time and effort cleaning. The breakfast area was too warm for comfort, must have been 15 degrees higher than everywhere else.

Did not bother to eat there 2nd day. Also, the windows were so disgustingly dirty, it took your appetite away. The ad online is deceiving. The pool area seemed to look like it was next to the water when in fact it was in a dismal parking lot, with no poolside appeal. We felt entirely ripped off for the U.S. price. We would NEVER recommend this hotel!
