Pros: "UP North" Charm. Quaint little cottages are great for a memorable vacation. Beach is clean with great swimming. The cottages are old school but are clean. The whole cottage community is kept up very well. The pool area is great if the weather is poor. At night they have a bonfire pit available.
Cons: The kitchen was nice but very limited. I wished they would have had some silverware, cooking utensils, plates, etc. Mine had a microwave and mini fridge. If you are staying a week and plan on cooking make sure you bring everything along and plan to cook on a grill or crockpots. Being that my stay was short it didn't bother me much.

Pros:
Cons: This cottage needs many updates to say the least. What they called a kitchen was a small worn out sink, old faucets, a hot plate and a shelf. No microwave and a bulb sticking out of the socket. Also there was an old outdated TV, no view of island and bridge as advertised, dirty carpeting and offensive odor in the cottage, nasty tasting coffee and same muffins every day, no discount coupons available. Wasn't able to get hot water until Saturday, the day we were leaving. Bathroom sink was small and low to the floor as well as the stool. (looked like it was for small people) Tub was nice though. No counter space available for bath usage. Curtains in a couple of areas were see through and we had to cover with towels for privacy. Closet space consisted of a bar off to the side of the room. Trucks passing by on the busy road sounded like they were coming into the cottage. Garbage truck made its pick up very early in the morning.

Pros: The location was nice, right on the beach. The proprietors were delightful, making homemade muffins for breakfast every morning. However, our daughter has celiac disease and can't have anything with gluten in it. We brought cereal for her to eat hoping milk would be available at the "provided breakfast" but it was not, only coffee. Other than that, our stay was nice.
Cons: The roll away cot our son slept on was extremely noisy and terribly uncomfortable.
