Marquette Regional History Center is at 145 W. Spring St. Visitors can see an Ojibwa village, a fur-trading post, equipment of the first survey party to the Upper Peninsula, pioneer artifacts and mining and lumber displays.

Mon.-Fri. 10-5 (also Wed. 5-8), Sat. 10-3. Closed Jan. 1, Presidents' Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Dec. 31.
