You can't visit the UP without trying a traditional pasty (pronounced "pass-tee"). This family-owned business has been serving up these authentic Cornish pocket sandwiches for over 40 years. Vegetables or steak with rutabaga are wrapped in a flaky crust made with butter solids and beef suet. Spice it up with some house-made "Kickin' Pasty Sauce." A few subs, wraps and salads are also available. Seating is very limited, so you may want to order your food to go.
