AAA Editor Notes
Herbert D. Doan Midland County History Center is at 3417 W. Main St. in Heritage Park. At the entrance to the park, the center houses a gallery offering interactive exhibits. The history of Midland is depicted through vignettes and re-created 20th-century city streets that visitors can roam. Guests of the center also learn about Midland’s founders and can use the research library.

Mon.-Fri. 8:30-5 (also most Sat. 9-2, early Sept.-late Apr.). Research library open Tues.-Thurs. 1-4 and by appointment. Closed major holidays.
