AAA Editor Notes
Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeways, 2.6 mi. e. on E. Broadway St. from jct. SR 20 to 6650 E. Broadway Rd., is a museum chronicling and celebrating the history of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, from the pre-contact ancestors to the present day. Historical items and interactive exhibits help tell the story. Exhibits related to recent history describe the loss of tribal lands and the people's adaptation to contemporary life. The tribe's language is used throughout the exhibits. A temporary exhibit is often on display, and a research center also is available.
