Muskegon Museum of Art is at 296 W. Webster Ave. Works of such American artists as Ralph Albert Blakelock, Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, Camille Pissarro and James Abbot McNeill Whistler are displayed. John Steuart Curry’s “Tornado Over Kansas” also can be seen. A European collection has objects ranging from ancient glass to contemporary art. Guided tours are available by appointment. Guided tours are available.
$8; $5 (college students with ID); free (ages 0-17 and to all Thurs. 4-8). Additional fee for special exhibitions.
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 11-5 (also Thurs. 5-8), Sun. noon-5. Closed major holidays.
