Oden State Fish Hatchery and Michigan Fisheries Visitor Center is at 3377 US 31. The Michigan Fisheries Visitor Center houses interactive exhibits. Just outside is a reproduction of a train car used 1914-35 to transport fish for stocking throughout the state. A .5-mile nature trail running by a stream leads visitors to the hatchery, which can be seen on guided tours only. Visitors also can drive to the hatchery. The facility raises brown and rainbow trout. The Stream Viewing Chamber allows visitors to watch fish swimming in the Oden River.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
