AAA Editor Notes
Knowlton's Ice Museum of North America, 317 Grand River Ave., contains tools (axes, crushers, saws, picks, ice wagons, etc.), photos and vehicles from the ice industry era (early 1800s-early 1900s). Ice harvesting was once a major industry; once harvested, Americans could regularly expect a delivery of an ice block from their delivery man to their icebox. A 14-minute video is shown, and there are interactive exhibits as well.

The museum also includes a 300-piece doll collection and items from the milk industry.

Guided tours are available.
