Thomas Edison Depot Museum is at 510 Edison Pkwy. under the Blue Water Bridge. Housed in the Fort Gratiot Railroad Station where Thomas Edison worked, the museum features re-created period displays, hands-on activities that focus on his inventions and a vintage baggage car that contains a mock-up of Edison’s first printing press. A video presentation also is offered. The museum is now part of Port Huron Museums. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$7; $5 (ages 60+ and students with ID); free (ages 0-4); $20 (family, two adults and up to four children).
Hours: Daily 10-4, Memorial Day-Labor Day; Sat.-Sun. 10-4, early May-day before Memorial Day and day after Labor Day-late Oct. Closed major holidays. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
