Built in 1840, the lighthouse was replaced in 1870 by the current lighthouse a mile north on the tip of the peninsula. The tower and 1905 keeper’s house are restored in the new lighthouse. A 3,425-pound bronze bell, larger than the Liberty Bell, is displayed in the old lighthouse. Both lighthouses offer exhibits. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
