AAA Editor Notes

Curious Kids’ Museum is at 415 Lake Blvd. Curiosity and learning is encouraged through hands-on exhibits that change often. Some exhibits come with their own costumes for young visitors to wear. Children can serve customers in their own diner, use simple machines, paint their faces, type their names in Braille, experiment with sound production, learn about earthquakes and volcanoes, and play with bubbles and shadows. Children can pick apples from simulated trees, follow the crop through processing and then sell apple-related products at a market stand. They can also heal stuffed animals in the Curious Vet Clinic. Curious Kids' Discovery Zone , a companion site, is nearby. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
$6; free (under 1). Combination ticket with Curious Kids' Discovery Zone $10; $6 (ages 1-2).
Hours: Daily 10-5, June 1-Labor Day weekend; Wed.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 10-4, rest of year. Closed major holidays.
