Pros: Our stay was ok, apart from problem highlighted..
Cons: The big problem here was that as the wifi didn't work here for the first 2 days of our stay, (therefore we couldn't see the online hotel details during this time, which included the fact that they have a guest laundry facility, and no-one told us about it when we checked in (importantly, the guest directory in the room did not mention the self service facility, only the expensive option of handing laundry in at reception, to be serviced), we were stung with a bill for $158.50 for one bag of laundry to be service washed... After 2 days when the wifi started working and the hotel details popped up on our mobile devices, we were annoyed to see that there is in fact a guest laundry on site, but it was too late for us to use it, as we had already had to put our laundry in, as we had been travelling. Not very impressed by this. In contrast, when we stayed at La Quinta next door, later in our trip, the receptionist there pointed out when we checked in that they had a guest laundry, without us asking! We did raise the point at the Holiday Inn Express reception when we checked out, hoping that they might have made a goodwill gesture by maybe reimbursing half of our laundry bill, and they said they'd look in to it, but we have had no such refund. (It's not too late!) The fault is with Holiday Inn, as apart from the wi-fi issue, the self-service facility was not mentioned in the guest information folder in the room! Please address this issue!
