Ypsilanti Historical Museum and Archives is just n. of Michigan Ave. at 220 N. Huron St. The 1860 house is filled with collections representing 19th-century life in Ypsilanti. Each room focuses on a different aspect of history; the parlor features antique furniture and art; a bedroom showcases antique quilts and the nursery displays antique toys. There also is a room dedicated to historic tools. The archives are housed in the basement, and the collection includes genealogical information.
