Duluth Children's Museum is at 115 S. 29th Ave. W. Exhibits include Castle Imagination, where a child-sized castle encourages role playing being a king, queen or knight, and Moneyville, headquarters for a bank and a stock market. There also are interactive science games, take-apart art, a magnetic table, a book nook and a dress-up area. The museum has a large collection of historical artifacts, with a different one displayed every Sunday. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
$9 (includes museum and exhibits); free (ages 0-1).
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5. Also open first Fri. of the month 5-7 (except June-Aug.).
