Martin County Historical Society's Pioneer Museum

Martin County Historical Society's Pioneer Museum is at 304 E. Blue Earth Ave. Housed in a 1917 brick school building, the museum's three floors feature local historical artifacts and displays depicting area history. Included are a 19th-century schoolroom, a pioneer-era room, military memorabilia, the city's first motorized fire truck, the original KSUM radio transmitter, a collection of local newspapers (bound and on microfilm) dating back to 1874 and a research library containing family historical documents.
