G.A.R. Hall and Museum and Meeker County Historical Society Museum is at 308 N. Marshall Ave. Civil War veterans and members of the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) erected the hall in 1885 to honor those who fought in the Union Army. It is furnished with original period pieces and houses Civil War research materials. Connected to the hall is the county museum, which contains Native American artifacts, an 1868 log cabin, a period doll and toy collection and other historical items.
