AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Recreation/Exercise): What I think is really special is the huge on-site athletic club, full spa and in-room yoga mats for those days when it's too cold to go outside.
This upscale hotel, with a 60,000 square foot athletic club, offers a wide variety of guest room types. When arriving by car, be sure to enter via the S 7th Street valet parking to avoid ticketing. Smoke free premises. 140 units. 15 stories, interior corridors.

Pros: My room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was great with plenty of space to put my toiletries. All staff I encountered were friendly and very helpful. I'd certainly recommend this hotel.
Cons: One small complaint was the shower would intermittently get cool and then warm up again. Unfortunately there was a lot of street work going on, which made it not so pleasant to walk around town, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Loved the hotel and its history. Very clean and neat...Staff was very friendly (Especially the bar tenders!).
Cons: Staff not very knowledgeable of area attractions and locations. Would suggest some form of credit toward parking fees when booked with the hotel. The hotel could use an elevator that persons could use to enter from the main entrance to the lobby.
