AAA Editor Notes
Pipestone County Museum is at 113 S. Hiawatha Ave. Built in 1896 using hand-hewn Sioux quartzite blocks, the museum building was formerly Pipestone City Hall. Displays interpret the heritage of the county and surrounding area. Included are Native American clothing, weapons, quillwork and beadwork as well as hands-on displays. Interpretive programs are offered.
