Cons: Friday morning breakfast was late. A heavy set gentleman (not sure of his name) at the front desk had a bad attitude. I won't stay here again
Pros: food for breakfast was average-- fruit good and coffee choices good.
Cons: Did not get a bill at the end of the stay-- prefer to know what would show on the card that I used. Parking is a challenge with a SUV of any size. ?Very close.
Pros: Very comfy! Nice to have a choice of pillow firmness. Thermostat on wall is also a nice feature! Also, breakfast was tasty, especially the cinnamon rolls!
Cons: Pet fee was higher than expected...$40.00 seems to be more than other hotels charge. La Quinta lets pets stay for free, unless there is damage. Most people who travel with their pets are hopefully considerate, responsible pet owners.
Pros: Staff was great as was breakfast!
Cons: Air Conditioning did not work well in my room
family with young children
Pros: Easy mile walk to the Mayo Clinic, I got a 10/15$ better deal directly through the hotel. Unfortunately, from the time I booked to the reservation time my credit card had to be canceled because of fraud charges so my reservations with booking.com had to be paid for with a different card. Good thing, I saved money!
Cons: The bathroom was not very clean, clumps of hair in the tub, wrappers on the floor by the side of the sink, a hair clip on the floor between the beds.
Pros: The beds were amazing and we loved the underground garage parking with the elevator so convenient.
Cons: Just a little pricey for our budget but we went with it anyway because of the proximaty to St. mary's hospital

Pros: Front staff was excellent!! Kudos to them. Have already booked for a second stay. Had an appointment at Mayo and returning for surgery. Hoping the second stay is as wonderful as the first. Thank you to the two gentlemen working during our first stay. I wish I remembered their names. We stayed March 30 and 31. Tell them thank you for me please.
Pros: It was near Mayo clinic. Heated underground parking was a plus on a cold, windy day. Pool was warmer than most hotel pools. Sausage biscuits and gravy on a continental breakfast. Awesome! Room was very clean.
Cons: We were facing the highway and could hear the traffic and the helicopter taking off several times from the hospital but once you fell asleep, couldn't hear it anymore.
Cons: No complaints very plesant
Cons: Reservations were made 2 weeks in advance for a three night stay....We were given a room directly facing the interstate on and off ramp....It wasn't until we turned out the lights and the TV off that we noticed the noise level was very high and we were unable to go to sleep easily...In the morning the traffic noise woke us.When I called the desk to ask for a room change the clerk replied "oh I know..we get a lot of complaints about that." My complaint is they placed us in that room to begin with...knowing we were there for 3 nights...not just one....We were not guests who just showed up at 8pm with no reservation. Although we were able to move across the hall to a room that was obviously vacant the night before.....leaves me wondering why we weren't given that room to begin with.
Pros: Heated garage, nice room, comfortable bed. Good breakfast and cozy fireplace in the entryway. Convenient shuttle to Mayo.
Cons: A bit noisy by the highway. Also, it is a little difficult to get the lotion out of those skinny little bottles. One thing I wish more hotels would include is a lighted magnifying mirror. The bathroom mirrors are usually not well lit and many older women need light and magnification or their makeup ends up where it shouldn't.
Pros: Nice motel. Very clean.
Cons: A bit pricey compared to other motels of the same quality. I guess you pay for convenience as well.
Pros: The staff was amazing to work with. One of the employees made a statement that greatly impressed me. He said 'if one of us makes a mistake it's all of our mistake because we are a team' .
Cons: I felt the price was too high. We were there because a family member was having open heart surgery and we needed to stay close to the hospital. The surgery is going to cost enough and then in addition to it we had a huge hotel bill. The price was lower than the others in the area, but I still feel it was too high. Is there any way you could offer some sort of a discount to families that are staying there due to a medical reason if you have proof of the reason for their stay? Just a thought.
Pros: The location was good as far as closeness and ease of access to the Mayo facilities. It was clean and the staff were friendly.
Cons: Didn't like the noise of the traffic on Hwy. 52 right out the window. The pillows were too high for me--I would like the option of a flatter pillow rather than just soft or firm.
Pros: Loved that it was easy to find, right off the highway!
Cons: Although the location was very nice and easy to get to, the noise level was hard to deal with.
Pros: Small rooms though adequate for two people. Helpful to have underground parking since we arrived during a snow storm.
Cons: Supervisor unsympathetic when change in plans occurred. Would not offer assistance and in a snappy tone gave us incorrect information. Also breakfast was always the same and boring. Would not stay again due to staff attitude.
