Methodist Church Museum is 2 blks. s. and 1.5 blks. w. of jct. US 63 and SR 16 at 221 W. Courtland St. The 1876 Victorian Gothic church features Italian-made stained-glass windows that date from 1715. Historical exhibits include displays about the Wilder family and department store magnate Richard Sears as well as a re-created, old-time country store and kitchen, a late 19th-century fire wagon and religious artifacts. The 1865 Washburn-Zittleman House on the grounds contains period furnishings.
